How we get there

Let’s meet

We like to start off with a preliminary meeting. So pull up a chair either at your favorite cafe for coffee or tea, or let’s have drinks at you neighborhood bar or restaurant. Or, we can even have a virtual first meet on the computer or phone. Wherever we do it, this allows us to find out about your style and fit preference. What shopping habits you have, and the upcoming occasions you are shopping for. This also allows you get to see who we are, and make sure you are comfortable with the way we operate. We usually bring a small selection of swatches and detail options to peak your interests. Once we have completed our first meeting, or if you are sold already, we can jump to the main appointment.

Location, Location, Location!

Let us know where you would prefer to meet. Also what you need to be comfortable. House-calls are the best option. There we can offer a full wardrobe consultation for your closet, included with your purchase. We can also come to your office, yacht (preferably docked), social and/or country clubs. Whichever you choose, we arrive with an arsenal of fabrics based on our original conversation and even sample suits, if necessary. We can accommodate most locations with a couple days notice. Just let us know the details and address on the booking page.

What would you like?

Now get relaxed, let’s dig deep. When is the last time your current clothier really dug into your clothing preferences, or had you bring in your favorite garment? We want to KNOW, not assume, that you may want a particular style and fit. Let us know what you are trying to achieve with your garments - work , play, special occasion, tough fit/style or just wardrobe updates. Then we need to know what fit and style will reflect the occasion you are shopping for. Do you prefer, classic fit and style or sightly modern fit with a fashion forward style? Are Italian fabrics with clean worsted and high twist wool’s from favorite mills like Loro Piana, VBC and Drago, to your liking? Do you have more of an affinity for knotty heavy tweeds and less combed British materials? We have all of those options covered, and a lot more. Do you have no Idea what that any of that means? We have you covered too. Never be overwhelmed. At any time during the process you feel out of your element, please do not hesitate to let us know.

Let’s get fitted!

This is the easy part. We take as many or as little measurements as you require to get the best outline of your body to offer a custom fit. We may use suit try-on sizes, as well as hand measurements, depending upon what your body fit and your style require. Lastly, we will discuss and confirm all your options for each garment to achieve a bespoke design of your choosing. After the fitting is complete, it will generally be between 4 - 8 weeks before we meet again. That all depends on the level of craftsmanship, fabric availability/rarity, details and subtle nuances you choose. In the true Bespoke made cases we may have a few in between fittings of basted or muslin shell garments before the final fitting which could be up to a few months later. The final fitting is where you get to see the finished product. There may be some last minute touch up alterations that may be necessary at this time. Otherwise, you will receive your wardrobe items at this time. Simple enough? Of course, so head over to Booking and set up your appointment & we’ll see you soon!
